My name is Hannah Curran and I'm a final year Bachelor Business (Marketing)/Learning Management (Secondary) student. I'm looking forward to this course (although I was supposed to have completed it in my first year) in terms of what it has to offer me in terms of engaging with both standard learning and e-learning tools and technology.

Get a Voki now!
A Voki Avatar would be an effective activity to use with either senior or junior high school students. For the junior classes, I would use an Avatar to introduce a topic to the group as it would stem away from the traditional 'chalk and talk' strategy. For the senior students, particularly my 11 and 12 Geography classes, I would ask them to create their own Voki that would talk about the imminent effects of climate change. They could then present this to the class!
